Scientific model and assumptions

Monoprotic acetic acid in an ideal solution at 25 °C. pKa = 4.76; pKw = 14. The model solves acid–base equilibrium and charge balance after each addition, with additive volumes. Added water and 0.10 mL indicator are included; indicator acid/base consumption is neglected. The meter is calibrated before the session and takes a few seconds to respond. Ionic activities and CO₂ absorption are not simulated.
