Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and StudSnap SAS. By creating an account or using StudSnap you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

If you are under the age of majority, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepts these Terms on your behalf.

02

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity that happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.

03

Acceptable use

StudSnap is here to help you learn. You agree not to:

  • use the service to cheat where your school or exam rules forbid outside help;
  • upload content you do not have the right to share, or anything unlawful or harmful;
  • resell, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service;
  • attempt to bypass usage limits, security or access controls.
04

The tutor is a guide, not an oracle

StudSnap uses AI to explain and guide. It aims to teach the method rather than hand over answers, but it can still make mistakes. Always check important work and use your own judgement. StudSnap is a study aid, not a substitute for your teacher or your own effort.

Final responsibility for any graded or submitted work is always yours.
05

Subscriptions & billing

StudSnap offers a free tier and a paid subscription (currently €6 per month). Paid plans renew automatically each period until cancelled. Prices include applicable taxes and may change with advance notice.

You can start with a trial where offered; if you do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription.

06

Cancelling & refunds

Cancel any time from your account. Your paid features stay active until the end of the current billing period, after which you move to the free tier. Where EU consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal, we honour it.

07

Your content

You keep ownership of the worksheets and answers you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the tutoring service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your content at any time.

08

Our content

The StudSnap app, brand, and the explanations and interface it generates are protected by intellectual-property rights and provided for your personal study use. Please do not copy or redistribute them beyond that.

09

Service availability & disclaimers

We work to keep StudSnap available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited, and nothing in these Terms removes rights you have as a consumer.

10

Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by French law, and the courts of Paris have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
